The aim of the cooperation between the language school and the Energotherm Group was to improve the language skills of the staff in the field of technical English, which is essential for communication with international partners and developing the company's business. Thanks to this, the company could more effectively implement projects, negotiate contracts and introduce innovative technological solutions on foreign markets.
Energotherm Group, with over 30 years of experience in the energy market, specializes in providing comprehensive technical services for the energy and industrial sectors. The company offers, among others, chemical cleaning services, process optimization and management of photovoltaic installations and waste management, implementing over 2,000 projects in Poland and abroad.
Chatschool language school offered an English course that included:
Business and technical English courses for engineers, tailored to their level of advancement and industry needs.
Group classes for all students, tailored to employees' schedules, language levels and industries.
The level of the courses has been precisely designed for the individual language needs of participants, thanks to an English language test.
All students have classes once a week, which helps maintain regularity.
Currently, 39 people representing different departments of the company are participating in the course. The classes are conducted in a group format, and the participants are divided into 10 teams, in accordance with the rules in force at Chatschool, where the maximum number of people in a group is 4.
The course organization process began with the signing of an agreement and defining the needs of the participants. Each of the course participants indicated their preferences regarding available dates, which made it easier for the administration to set a schedule of classes. Then, all participants took an oral English test, which assessed aspects such as pronunciation, grammar, fluency and vocabulary. After the test, each course participant received a detailed report prepared by a Chatschool methodologist, including an assessment of the language level, an analysis of individual skills and individual goals in learning English. Thanks to this, the teachers have access to the necessary information, which allows them to adapt the materials to both the group and the needs of an individual participant.
Correctly determining the language level of the participants was crucial to immediately assigning them to the appropriate groups. This minimized the need to change groups during the course, which is important because participants usually prefer to work in a permanent team with the same lecturer throughout the training.
Each participant received a certain number of tokens, where one token corresponds to a one-hour group lesson. Teachers who met the appropriate criteria, such as time availability, experience, knowledge of the industry and language level, were assigned to conduct the classes.
After completing the course, participants undergo another oral test, which allows them to assess their progress. The results are presented in the form of a report on the employee's individual account, allowing students to check their progress after the course. Additionally, the decision-maker at Energotherm also has the opportunity to check the students' results and attendance.

Our cooperation began in September 2024 and will continue until the end of February 2025. The course assumes conducting Stage I of training for each employee.

Plans for the Future:
The group course for Energotherm was planned to be completed within 6 months of launch. During this time, 39 employees took part in the English course.
After the course is complete, we plan to conduct a spoken English test for the course participants to check their progress. At the end, each employee will receive a test report summarizing their achievements during the 6 months of using the course. Additionally, all participants will receive a certificate of completion of the course, with information on their English level and exact attendance at classes.
After completing the language training, the HR Manager also assumes that employees of Energotherm will continue their education. In Stage II of the training, employees will continue to improve their English skills.
