Successes of Cooperation with RITS Professional Services

Purpose of cooperation:

 

The aim of the cooperation was to support RITS teams in developing language skills to improve communication in international IT projects and increase competitiveness in the global market. The key challenge was to provide language knowledge tailored to the specific requirements of the technology industry.

About the client:

 

RITS Professional Services is a dynamically developing IT company offering comprehensive outsourcing and consulting solutions for clients from various sectors. The company operates globally, serving clients from industries such as fintech, pharmaceuticals, banking, manufacturing and media, with offices in Poland, Vietnam and the USA.

1. Introduction

Chatschool Language School provided a comprehensive language training program that included:

 

  • Business and technical English courses for IT teams, tailored to their level of advancement and industry needs.

    Individual online classes with flexible hours, enabling employees from different time zones to participate.

  • The level of the courses has been precisely tailored to the individual language needs of the participants.

  • For the management staff at RITS, we have focused on individual classes. Thanks to this, people in higher positions have greater flexibility in choosing lessons.

  • All students have a limit of 4 classes per month, which helps maintain regularity among students.

  • A group course has been proposed for other employees, which helps integrate employees from different departments and is also cost-effective for RITS.

2. Selected Solutions

Implementation:

 

Currently, 33 people from different departments are taking part in the course, of which 27 people are taking part in individual courses and 6 people in group courses. The implementation process began with signing the contract and determining the needs of the participants. After this stage, an oral English test was conducted for all registered employees. The test examined many language aspects such as: pronunciation, grammar, fluency and vocabulary. After completing the test, each participant received an in-depth report prepared by the Chatschool methodologist, which included information about the language level of the given employee and a language analysis containing all the above-mentioned parameters. During the preparation of the report, the methodologist also included data regarding the individual goal in teaching English to a specific employee. Thanks to the fact that all information contained in the report is available to the lecturer, the teacher can adapt the material to each participant during individual classes. 

 

Defining the levels for group participants was equally important, so that we could then match them to the appropriate group. Our goal was for the course participants to be immediately assigned to a group at a specific language level. In this way, we minimized the risk of transferring RITS employees between groups. This is especially important during the course, because participants prefer classes with one group and teacher from the beginning to the end of the language training.

 

During the course, the participant received a pool of tokens (1 token = 60-minute lesson) to use during the course. Each participant in the individual classes could choose a teacher who would meet their requirements both in terms of teaching and flexibility and adjusting their schedule. In turn, employees who signed up for a group course were offered a teacher who met certain criteria: time availability, experience or knowledge of the industry, and level of English.

 

After each forty classes, a second oral test is organized for each participant to check the student's progress. Information in the form of a report from such a test appears on the individual account of each employee. Thanks to this, the employee has the opportunity to check their progress during the course.

3. Implementation Process

Out of 22 people whose report is available on the platform (previous tests plus spoken language tests), 15 of them have improved their English level or are at the same level. This gives us 68.18%

Our cooperation began in January 2023 and continues to this day! RITS employees have a set limit of 4 lessons per month. Classes are conducted individually and in groups.
